How do I use it?
The laser should be used on its highest setting for a 10-15 minute treatment session, repeated up to twice a day. Treatments should be done for 4 weeks, with a 1-week break after 14 days (5 weeks total). This cycle can be repeated indefinitely.

How long do I need to use this to see the effects?
This depends on what you’re treating and on your pet. We recommend using the laser for a minimum of 5 weeks for joint pain/ligament injuries (2 weeks on, one week off, 2 weeks back on for a total 4 weeks of usage). Minor wounds/incision sites can be treated with 1 daily dose for a week, as this is typically sufficient to speed up healing. Treatment of bacterial infections will depend on the species of bacteria and the extent of the infection. Minor infections could resolve in as little as a week, whereas more severe infections may need antibiotic treatment in combination with LLLT.
Can this hurt my pet?
No, our Portable Laser Therapy doesn’t emit any heat or cause any discomfort to your pup. Please note that it shouldn’t be used on pregnant animals, animals with cancer or benign tumors and those with hemorrhagic diseases.
The laser should never be used on or near an inflamed lymph node or the thyroid gland, located on the front side of the neck.
The light can also cause retinal damage if directed at the eye so use it with caution and never directly point the laser at you or your pet's eyes!
My pet has a thick or dark coat, will this affect the treatment?
Yes, the density of the coat and even the color of your pet’s skin and coat can impact how the photons are absorbed. We recommend shaving the affected area to maximize absorption.
Do I need a vet to help me use this?
No, this laser is designed to be user-friendly and provide an at-home treatment option for pet parents. It’s always best to let your vet know about the laser treatments so that they can guide you appropriately.
Can I use this device on humans and other animals?
LLLT has been proven to be safe in humans, horses, dogs and cats. Only use on exotic animals such as reptiles or rodents under the guidance of your vet!
Are there any side effects?

It has truly helped my Mastiff.
I have an 11 yr old very loved and spoiled English Mastiff who had been showing some weakness in his back legs for a while. Our vet diagnosed him with arthritis and we've been giving him glucosamine shots for several months, along with an occasional dose of Rymadil for pain.
About a month ago he was outside and we believe he hurt his back somehow by running or slipping on the snow/ice. We found him literally dragging his back legs up the driveway. It was heartbreaking, not to mention very difficult to help him because he weighs 200 lbs. I spoke with my vet and she told me that I may have to accept the fact that he may not have much time left. When a 200 lb dog can't walk or position himself to go potty, its not a good thing.
I refused to accept that this was the end. I began googling and researching everything I could possibly think of to try to figure out any possible ways to help him. I stumbled across Yugo Pets and read the reviews, which seemed positive but you never know if all reviews are "real". I was desperate and decided to take a chance. So glad I did! I started using it on Walter as soon as it was charged and continued using it every 4 to 5 hours (3 times a day) for a couple days and seriously within a couple days we started to notice a difference and within a week to 10 days he was getting around better than he was before he hurt himself! I still wasn't entirely sure that it wasn't a fluke and actually slacked off a couple weeks ago on his treatments. I was only giving him like one treatment a day for a couple days. All of the sudden his back legs started to weaken again. So I immediately went back to treatments 2, 3 or 4 times a day and he started to improve again. Consistency is definitely the key. Typically, I will try to treat more than one spot at a time. I do his spine for 15 mins, his hips for 15 mins and then his knees. Mastiffs are pretty lazy as it is but when I do his treatments he literally snores through it. You can just see the relaxation come over him.
Sorry this was so long but I hope it helps someone make a decision to try it for their pet. And one more thing... Yugo Pets Customer Service is great. I emailed them with a question and they responded quickly and compassionately.

Yugo Pets gave a new life to my Corgi
My 8.5 yr. old Corgi was going through a lot since 2023. He was unable to get up by himself and walk 20 steps. I had to carry him up and down the stairs. After spending almost $4000 on meds, several X-rays and MRI of back and knees, we found out that he has an inflammation in his ribs and severe arthritis in his both knees.
VET put him on Prednisone, tramadol and gabapentin for a long period of time. He used to feel better when he was Prednisone, and then he would revert back to worst once the dose was tapered or over. His VET suggested to take him for acupuncture therapy and continue Tramadol and Gabapentin for some time. We had 3 sessions of Acupuncture therapy so far which is working but is a slow process. At least he is off prednisone and able to walk a little bit more (80 steps) than earlier once we help him to getup.

I just didn't have the money to invest in something like that. So I bought the Yugo Pets device.
I was one of the most skeptical of people when it came to light therapy. I did a lot of research on LLLT, so I knew there was research supporting it. I just didn't think a cheaper version of LLLT would work. Most start at hundreds of dollars and go up to 10's of thousands of dollars, and I just didn't have the money to invest in something like that. So I bought the Yugo device, fearing that it would just end up being an expensive flashlight. My poor dog is almost 15 years old and is in such discomfort that she hops when she slowly walks. I spent $500.00 on vet bills to find out it was arthritis. The vet put her on vetprofen and Tramadol, which didn't work well at all. Two weeks ago, I started using the Yugo device on my girl. I did this twice a day for 5 days without seeing any good results. I kept at it, sometimes doing this 3 times a day. By the 6th day, I started noticing a difference. Purrfect Alternative Treatment for Arthritis and More for Pets, No more throw ups
I have 2 beautiful and large Ragdoll Service cats. Unfortunately arthritis is something we all suffer from at one time or another, including our pets. Larger pets suffer earlier, and cats often hide the initial stages. Often treatments consist of pills, treats, or some other supplement, your finicky cat may or may not eat. And if they do eat it, they may or may not throw it back up 10 minutes later along with their meal. My oldest cat is more finicky than any I've seen before and refuses to eat "tainted" food. That is, if I try to add anything to her food as a treatment, she won't eat. So when we heard about the Yugo therapy device, I knew we had to try it. Finally, a treatment that doesn't cause any harmful side effects and something your pet will actually enjoy. No more uneaten meals or throw ups right after the meal. My cat (Dezi) loves "treatment time" so much, she often tries to open the box herself. So thankful that he Yugo makers seem to care more abut providing relief and quality to our pets than just making money, because we’ve seen this product sold for over $400. The Yugo device is rechargeable and comes with both the USB charging cable as well as an adapter to plug right into the wall outlet. The charging light is easy to see, so there's no question as to when the unit is ready for use. During the treatment, this device does warm up. It doesn't get hot and is not uncomfortable for your pet. Based on the purrs, I would say it's very relaxing. There is a built in shut off after 15 minutes that will turn the Yugo device off, signaling the end of the treatment. We have been doing a 15 minute treatment per day, and occasionally a second short treatment when Dezi gets the box open herself. She really does enjoy treatment time. Although my youngest cat is not yet 1 year old, she wants to get a treatment as well. It's so nice to know, this isn't going to hurt her or cause any adverse side effects. And we can also use this device to encourage fur growth where she was shaved for her spay surgery. This device is easy wipe clean. I have been using light therapy for myself for years. I really have tried to find one, but haven't yet. Other than it may be a little cost prohibitive for some initially. But, if you're treating these conditions with treats or supplements or even prescription meds, and add up the cost, I really think you'll see this Yugo device would be cheaper in the long run and have far less side effects. And it may take a couple of treatments before you notice improvement. But I believe you will see improvement if you stick with it.
